About Foundation
The Armed Forces Veterans Foundation (Yayasan Veteran ATM) was established in 2004 and registered under the Companies Act 1965 as a company limited by guarantee. The foundation is administered by a Board of Trustees chaired by the Secretary General of the Malaysian Ministry of Defence.
Foundation Goals
The Armed Forces Veterans Foundation (Yayasan Veteran ATM) was established with the primary objective of strengthening welfare programs currently run by the Armed Forces Veterans Affairs Department. This is achieved through financial resources generated from public donations, including contributions from the corporate sector, and through the Foundation's investments.
Donations and Tax Exemption
Donations should be made payable to
"YAYASAN VETERAN ATM".
Every contribution made is eligible for a tax deduction under subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967 (reference number: LHDN.01/35/42/51/179-6.5692).

Roles of the Foundation

Support the Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Affairs Department (JHEV ATM) in matters related to the welfare of Armed Forces Veterans.

Seek suitable investment opportunities based on the financial position to enhance the funds of YAYASAN VETERAN ATM (YVATM).

Manage finances responsibly and effectively to ensure the sustainability of the foundation.

Channel welfare aid that aligns with the needs of the targeted groups to improve their quality of life.
Zakat Fund
To encourage donors to continue contributing to the Foundation, the Board of Trustees has established a Zakat Fund that will manage contributions as payment of income/business zakat for the welfare and issues of ATM Veterans based on what is prescribed by Islamic law.
Zakat payments should be made in the name of "ZAKAT FUND OF VETERAN ATM FOUNDATION." For any inquiries or further information, please contact 03-2050 8191 / 8194.
Dialysis Centre
The Veteran ATM Foundation, through its subsidiary, DVet Holding Sdn Bhd, has opened three dialysis centers located in Seri Kembangan, Batu Caves, Bukit Sentosa and Batang Kali.
These dialysis centers are specifically opened for eligible ATM Veterans and their dependents, as well as for other sponsored patients.
