Welfare Division

The planning, coordination, and implementation of welfare assistance programs for eligible Veterans of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and their dependents are carried out through the following assistance schemes:

• Living Assistance (Bantuan Sara Hidup)
• Schooling Assistance (Bantuan Persekolahan)
• Higher Education Institution Entry Assistance (Bantuan Kemasukan ke Institusi Pengajian Tinggi)
• Patient Equipment Assistance (Bantuan Peralatan Pesakit)
• Natural Disaster Assistance (Bantuan Bencana Alam)

These initiatives are aimed at providing comprehensive support to veterans and their families to improve their quality of life and well-being.

To plan, monitor, and review the policies for the provision of welfare and educational assistance to eligible Veterans of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and their dependents.

To plan and monitor the implementation of the Welfare and Medical Facilities Committee meetings in considering each welfare assistance application from ATM veterans.

To manage the disbursement of welfare assistance payments to eligible ATM veterans and their dependents.

To coordinate and respond to all inquiries and complaints received, and take appropriate action.
