Accounting Management
- Supervises the Department's accounts.
- Maintains comprehensive and up-to-date accounts and records related to departmental expenditures, revenues, and trusts.
- Responsible for all accounting and financial procedures and regulations in force.
- Manages the collection of the Department's revenue.
- Oversees the closing of daily, monthly, and yearly accounts within the stipulated timeframe.
- Prepares bank reconciliations, trust reconciliations, and departmental revenue reconciliations within the stipulated timeframe.
- Processes the write-off of government debts.
- Prepares the budget for retirement benefits, funeral management assistance, and medical treatment for pensioned ATM veterans.
Financial and Administrative Management
- Prepares the Department's Operating Expenditure Estimates. Manages payments and official duty allowance claims for departmental staff.
- Handles payments of bills for contractors/suppliers of the Department.
- Plans and controls departmental allocations, including pensions, medical, and operating expenditure allocations.
- Prepares procurement documents and manages procurement-related matters for the Department.
- Oversees the administration of the Division.
Payment Management
- Manages the Department's cash flow through economical, regulated, organized, and efficient financial resource management.
- Handles the payment of retirement benefits for Malaysian Armed Forces personnel.
- Manages the disbursement of welfare assistance to ATM veterans.
- Oversees the reimbursement of medical expenses for pensioned ATM veterans.
- Processes the reimbursement of medical claims for non-pensioned ATM veterans.
- Conducts reviews of all payment vouchers to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
