Key Functions
- Manage the ICT infostructure and infrastructure for JHEV ATM.
- Act as an ICT and ICT security advisor to the JHEV ATM Chief Information Officer (CIO).
- Plan and implement the ICT Strategic Plan (PSTM) for JHEV ATM.
- Manage the ICT budget and financial allocation for JHEV ATM.
- Provide ICT consultancy services for JHEV ATM.

- Ensure secure and reliable ICT infrastructure and infostructure to guarantee effective and available service delivery.
- Provide advisory services in ICT planning, development, implementation, and consultancy.
- Execute efficient and effective ICT governance.
Units
Strategic Planning and Services Unit
- Develop and manage the ICT Strategic Plan (PSTM).
- Oversee ICT governance for MinDef and secretariat duties.
- Manage and monitor ICT projects.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance (quality coordination, quality program implementation, and ICT best practices).
- Plan competency development and human capital strategies (ICT expertise development, ICT training plans, and ICT Training Roadmap coordination).
- Manage human resources and office administration.
- Oversee financial and budget management.
Operations Unit
- Provide and manage JHEV’s ICT infrastructure.
- Enforce ICT Security Policies within JHEV.
- Manage email systems.
- Administer and manage the data center.
- Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
- Pengurusan keselamatan dan pengendalian insiden.
- Pengurusan keperluan infrastruktur perkakasan dan perisian untuk pengguna.
- Oversee ICT asset management.
- Pengurusan Desktop Berpusat (AD).
- Provide technical expertise and support.
- Quality Control Compliance
Unit Aplikasi
- Melaksanakan penyelenggaraan dan penambahbaikan aplikasi teras sedia ada bagi memastikan pemantapan aplikasi.
- Membangun dan melaksana pembangunan aplikasi baharu bagi menepati keperluan pengguna / pemilik aplikasi di Jabatan.
- Melaksanakan penyelenggaraan, penambahbaikan, menaiktaraf dan kajian impak aplikasi sokongan sedia ada bagi memastikan pemantapan aplikasi secara keseluruhan.
- Merancang, mengkaji dan menyelaras pembangunan Portal Jabatan berdasarkan keperluan pengguna dan mematuhi piawaian Jabatan Digital Negara (JDN).
- Melaksanakan khidmat nasihat dan sokongan teknikal berkenaan sistem aplikasi bagi memastikan kesinambungan perkhidmatan.
Unit Data
- Melaksanakan pengurusan pangkalan data bagi menjamin ketepatan dan keselamatan data veteran ATM dan selaras dengan keperluan pengguna.
- Memperkukuhkan penyelarasan dan penyelenggaran Data diperingkat Jabatan.
- Memberi Khidmat Rundingan Dalam Pengurusan Data Veteran ATM.
- Melaksanakan Peningkatan Perkongsian Data.
- Bertanggungjawab menyediakan data dan statistik bagi aktiviti-aktiviti yang melibatkan Veteran ATM.
- Melaksanakan penggunaan dan perluasan inisiatif ICT kerajaan persekutuan bagi memantapkan penyampaian perkhidmatan kementerian.
