Constant-Attendance Allowance (ELS) is paid monthly to officers with 100% disability.


Are you eligible?

Officers that are eligible to receive ELS:

  • Disability level assessed at 100%
  • Duty related disability.
  • Assessment and verification of disability are performed by Determination Cause Committee (LPS) in Health Services Section (BPK)
  • Approved by Armed Forces Council (MAT).
  • Benefit will cease if Veteran pass away

About Constant-Attendance Allowance (ELS)

  • Constant-Attendance Allowance (ELS) is paid monthly to officers with 100% disability.

How much is ELS?

Payment are calculated based on:

 Monthly Ex-Gratia (EXB) Amount x 0.4 = Constant-Attendance Allowance (ELS)
(maximum RM500 monthly)*

* ELS calculation that gives higher amount between PPAT 82 dan PMAT 9/2008.

When ELS is paid?

ELS is paid monthly.

Payment method

ELS will be credited to Veteran's bank account.


How to apply?

  • Officers perform health check-up RSAT/PPAT or closest hospital.
  • If officers suffer permanent disability, a Medical Board will be organized.
  • LPS will convene to assess disability level and whether the injury is duty-related or not.
  • JRP will process payment approval and payment will go thru JHEV.
